Terri-Jo has owned Secrets since inception September 14, 1987. She is dedicated to making Secrets a great place to work. Offering flexiable hours helps staff juggle home and work schedules more easily.  Having fun at work is a must. Bringing in advanced education for our staff and attending the Redken Symposiums and classes at the NYC Redken Exchange is VERY important to our salon.

Debbie Ivey has been a stylist /colorist since 1982 and worked at Secrets since 1987. She still finds that after years that her job is still fun, exciting and rewarding in many ways. She is a graduate of the Katy Independent School District Cosmetology program. Debbie attends many continuing education classes on a regular basis. Including the Redken International Symposium in Las Vegas & hands-on Toni & Guy cutting classes. Debbie is a Highlight Specialist. She is devoted to making each and everyone of her guests look and feel their best.

Darla Bonar has been a hair stylist in the Katy area since 1984 and a stylist/colorist at Secrets since 1989. Darla is a specialist in hair cutting and coloring with extensive training at the Toni & Guy Academy in Dallas, Texas as well as the Redken Exchange on 5th Avenue in New York City, New York. She has also attended numerous Redken Symposiums in Las Vegas. Darla takes extreme pride in her work. She gives every client a complete look that compliments their features and the health of their hair. Darla has an extensive knowledge of all Redken haircare products. Hair Styling is Darla Bonar's passion.

Joan McCall has been a haircare professional since 1978.  Experienced in haircutting, dimensional color as well as highlights and lolights, perming and keratin treatment. Formerly trained with John Joy Salons in New Orleans, Joan moved to Houston and worked in the Memorial area for 12 years. Since moving to Katy she has worked at Secrets since 1997 and found a comfortable and quaint setting to accommodate her clients. Her philosophy is to make the best of what you have, to create a sense of style that works for your personality and lifestyle. "Continued education is a key, keeping in touch with current trends and products, gives you the tools to help clients with all their haircare needs."

Suzanne Hamilton has been a hairdresser since the spring of 1986. Originating her career in Fort Bend County, she has also trained and worked in North Carolina and Kentucky. In addition to being well trained in hair-color, cuts and texture waves through Redken and TIGI. She also offers facial waxing formal up-do's, military fades and is certified in thermal retexturizing. Suzanne has been a part of the Secrets staff since July 1999. She has attended several Redken Symposiums and is continually updating her knowledge and performance through education, commitment and passion for the field of beauty arts. She prides herself in listening to the customer and helping them choose their own personal look.

Dana Hannawacker has been a stylist/colorist since 1992. She has been a part of the Secrets staff since 2002. She attended the Gordon Phillips Beauty School in New Jersey. She also studied at Jacque Dessange in New Jersey as well as the Redken Exchange in New York City, New York.  Redken Advanced Color in Penn. , Redken Specialist Color classes here in Texas and Redken International Symposium's in Las Vegas. Dana is always attending extensive continuing education classes in and out of the salon and is always interested in learning "what's new and in.” She loves her career and making people feel better about themselves.Dana was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana being raised most of her life as a Cajun girl. She lived in New Jersey for 16 years and has lived in Katy since 2002. She has been married for 20 years and has 3 grown children and 1 granddaughter. She is a very friendly, fun loving stylist that listens to what her clients are asking for. She loves hair, makeup and jewelry and believes it’s part of her job to look good head to toe. She is always trying new places to eat and visit around Katy/Houston and likes to share what she finds. 

Megan became a stylist in 2006 in Ohio where she managed a salon for 6 years. She has been a part of the Secrets Salon Team since 2013. She is a Redken Artist, (certified to teach stylists about Redken products and color). She is also a Redken Certified Hair-colorist, Redken Master Specialist and a Certified Design Specialist.  She has taken many classes at the Redken Symposium in Las Vegas, the Redken Exchange in New York, along with Redken Artist training at least once a year. Megan is up-to-date on the newest trends and products within the Redken family and is excited to help you meet your hair goals and keep your style updated and on trend. “I love helping my clients reach their hair goals while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair.”

Shannon has been part of the Secrets Salon Team since 2018. She has been a stylist since 1992, with extensive knowledge in cutting, styling and color techniques. She specializes in foil highlighting and loves those special occasion upstyles. Her positive, professional, fun loving and caring personality will bring a smile to your face while in her chair. She listens to her clients and helps them with a style that fits their life. Shannon enjoys making hair her art and her clients happy. With her artist talent she gives her clients style/color that perfect for them. Her husband is a gymnastics coach and she has 3 girls. Shannon is a BreastCancer survivor and leads her life in the survivor attitude loving the outdoors and believes life should be joyful and fun. “It’s a great day to be alive” is her favorite saying.
